Tour of the National Museum of Colonial History, Aba with the Curator
The Consulate Building is prefabricated in England and brought to the country by the British Colonial Administration and first erected at Akwete in Ukwa East LGA, Abia State in 1892 and was used as the Administrative Headquarters of the Oil Rivers Protectorate.

About the Event
As a functional Museum, the museum has a Craft Centre comprises kitchen where traditional Nigerian cuisines are served. The craft Centre also have craft shop where crafts are sold to those using them as suorvenirs. There is a bar, a grillers spot where traditional soups and salads are served.
